Valve porting Sauce to Linux

According to rumors, Valve has announced that GabeN has been searching for a senior project lead to port the Sauce engine to Linux. I’m going to dig around and see what else I can find on it. Now that wine can run just about anything without emulating it and now that nvidia is releasing steady Linux x64 drivers almost as regularly as its Windows counter part, I’m seriously thinking about moving my desktop permanently to Linux.
