Personally, I enjoy the oldies? Why? Because they created everything we have in music. If not created (which I am pretty sure they did

i listen to classic rock, old jazz, blues, prog rock, some techno & electronic, and fusions of any of those to be more specific
I just voted for what I listen to on a regular basis. I am willing to listen to a fairly wide variety of music…to a degree.
The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Doors, [Emerson, Lake and Palmer], Soft Machine, Disco I guess.
Just some of the oldies I like. I am constantly coming across oldie material that I enjoy
Next thing I probably have to ask is; anyone here a musician, and if so, what instrument? I myself play guitar, bass guitar, and drums. I am mediocre on everything except drums. I cannot read music for any of those instruments, I just kinda jam, and learn by ear. I am bout to get some guitar lessons though

I was actually taking Alto Sax lessons, until I realized that it is not the instrument for me, although I love to hear it, I did not enjoy playing it unfortunately.
I got about 12 years practice on the thing… The last 3 years have been mostly ‘hey I’ll pick that up and play it every 3 months.’
The drum set is pretty easy to teach yourself how to play. It is truly practice. Being able to play one part with one hand, and another part with the other hand or your foot (bass drum) takes time to develope.
I suck at the drums. I played cello for 3 years and sang in my highschool choir for 2yrs and the last year we were there we RAPED Virginia Beach choir festival!
