I’ve written a plugin which will look for and deal with the idiots who come in as ‘unconnected’ meaning their name is “”, and the people who come in with names already in use plus a space, ie, “Liam “.
Most of these players are there to hack and/or cause other issues, and it simply kicks them with a note to change their name before rejoining.
If the plugin starts causing problems, let me know and I’ll look into what could be wrong.

thanks a lot man, those *edited* unconnecteds join and then mic spam. then they start spinning like craaaaazy and aimbotting. thats never fun, and when no admins are on it sucks even more.

I do believe he could have delt with this quickly.

Yes.
Because on here, MasterP is ‘God’, hence why I don’t put much time into writing plugins anymore. They’re not appreciated as was re-proved in his comment here about my update, even though everyone else has enjoyed it.

As the CL, it would be better to PM me when you need an admin than to ignore it and let the problem fester. All the contact info you need is in my profile and I’m on msn and aim from 6pm-2am almost every day. If you can’t get in touch with me, get with SOMEONE. Abusers are too easy for an experienced admin to deal with for no one to bother contacting one.

Maybe if I had been told at ANY point along the process of tossing this mod on I would have been more appreciative. At this point I don’t really know what all is running on the CSS server anymore. Don’t misunderstand me, I do appreciate the coding you do but it’s hard for me to be supportive if I’m supposed to be told before it’s added to the server.
And how was my comment about forcing a knife round a negative about your plugins? Knife rounds are great but history has shown it to be HIGHLY abused on the other servers I’ve played on. How does this in any way reflect my thoughts about you?
