Just wondering if there would be any interest in doing this. Basically what this was, was we’d get some regulars, usually 6 or so per team and scrim in a private server, all in good fun of course. I’m sure everyone knows, 5 is the usual number of players you use, but seeing as how this is just for fun, we could stretch it out to 6-8. Basically it would just be a more organized pub because we’d be using vent and whatnot, calling strats, working as a team, etc. We usually just played maps like nuke, d2, inferno, but once we played oilrig, which was actually pretty fun. The pub is basically just chaos, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in this. We’d use CAL config, first team to get 16 rounds wins, 15 round halves, etc lolz.
Thoughts? An alternative to fun night I guess.
I would say that until you guys have your server back to the old standards of it being full most of the day, you can ill afford 12 regulars to not be in the server…unless I have been mistaken and the server is back to where it used to be…

When I get back to the mother land I am buying 1.crap and will be helping you guys out and would be down for this tactical play…but until then…
i think that sounds good. I havent scrimmed in forever. I would defintely be interested when i get my DSL up :arrowhead:
I wonder if WCU can host a private server for this. I know it will pull some of us out of the public server on occasion but it would be useful to building online friends (and having friends brings them to the server). I would say this server will not be allowed to be used for cal or league play but simply 5 v 5 pugging. I think getting 10 regulars and playing strat-wise cs seems to appeal to me

I was thinking we could just set a side a night to play. Maybe a Sunday, see if everyone can agree and then play.

if everyone adds me on steam friends i guess i can organize one every now and then when i have free time and we can use WCU’s vent

as long as you guys leave the scrim if you see someone in irc complaining about a hacker to take the demo and get the ban i am all for the idea. Besides we have been doing that anyway.
