valve does not sell “LAN accounts” they sell LAN slots for $2 a person per day with a 2 day min. so the account is just a normal account with the games we play at the lans. we have used it 8+ times w/ sv_lan 1 set in offline mode, and it supports up to 9 or 10 offline users b4 it starts kicking ppl. not sure if the found out the loophole we have been using. but if so we got a uneless account on our hands. 
i gess we can try it at the event.
