With elections coming up I’d like everyone’s opinion on how well they think I did my job as the Counter Strike Source Council Leader. ALL opinions and comments are welcome as they will help either me or my successor do a better job in serving the community at large.
Feel free to lay into me if you feel I deserve it, all I ask is that this not turn into a flame thread. Flame me, not the other posters.
I have seen more pro’s then cons during your session as council. You have kept up date with the server and the situations that happened all summer pretty closely. You handle the chantz ordeall successfully and when it got to rough with everyone being *edited*ed that he was banned, you locked the threads to allow time for the demo’s to be watched. You approved me as admin
and you have very little inactivity.I’m not sure of any cons really, i havnt seen anything i didnt like from you. I’ll think of something.

you listened to the council when the council asked for something. You did not select the root option of your personal believes, but the beliefs of the community even if you though it was wrong or did not like it. Their was just the right amount of switch up and new’ness to the server w/o really changing it. I must admit was very secpitual of you b/c you did not ever play before you were elected, and now i see you in their often. (i was proved wrong) Much better than other CL’s currently, and past elected. Overall Great job, would get my vote again if i could vote again.

I concur as well, but one other thing…
In the small times when you were inactive in the server yourself, since this was not just a week or so thing, I would have maybe liked to see you appoint someone who could either do your job, or at least voice your opinion on things from the server. Not sure if that made sense…but w/e…

LOL, I didn’t mean give me council leader powas while masterP was unable to give up his life for the server, but someone else that is a regular AND goes to WCU or something like that…
But masterP knows I would gladly take tha powas anyday!!!! : P

pros:
i will say that MasterP has been one of the more, if not the most active CL this summer. hes made sure the populous knows whats oing on with the server at any point in time, and was quick to act with requests… good job

Pros: You listen to the community’s GOOD ideas (and ignored the random calls for votemap over a rotation… that would’ve failed hard), you almost always hold votes when you make a change to the server, you got rid of deaglezknivez.
Cons: There is still no ZM server…

Oh, don’t get me started. Every time I turn on Fox News in my dorm’s lobby, some John Q. Sonova*edited* comes up and says “Fox News! They’re so biased! Why would you watch such trash?” If I turn on CNN, not a word of protest. I bet I could watch the Puppy Sodomizing Channel and I’d get less of a reaction. I just want to say, “Yeah It’s Fox News. Don’t like it? Then *edited* you and *edited* your mother. I hope you get cancer. Now, have a nice day.

It’s funny you’d mention Family Guy, because the show has degenerated into one-sided, ham-fisted socially commentary. By contrast, Fox News is not the least bit biased as they actualy attempt to present…

I think you did a great job so far to date, as i have no way to tell the future (so you all don’t know yet…muahaha). If i could, I would vote for you to stay in “office” again. But we need more maps in the rotation, and I believe 90% of the regulars do agree. Keep up the good work, and good luck to you man.
