We are set to do a table for Valley Ballyhoo on Saturday any and all members of the club that would like to help out by being at the table and talking up the club and things that are to come for the club.
I really need anyone’s help for this that can show up to promote the club, if you are going to be there please respond to this post by saying so.
You will need to be there by 2:50 PM, in the Coulter Parking lot, look for me, if you don’t know what I look like ask around for the gaming club and somebody might be able to point you in the right direction. Don’t bring anything with you unless anyone has some flyers or something that promotes the club, I just need bodies to sit at the table, talk to people about the club, and possibly if we can get a laptop to help people register on the forums. We are trying to get ideas of things to give away so if you have any go ahead and throw them out, we are going to do candy already and then we are going over to the dollar store to see if we can find anything cheap to get to give away.
That is all for now I hope to see a lot of people tomorrow!
If my laptop is charged enough I will bring it if you want. A good idea is to bring a lot of the banners we have for Thermaltake, nVidia, SteelSeries, etc and hand them around the table, on the corners and such, and also some of the posters and such. If we have any extra posters, stickers, etc from previous lans (including things like lanyards, pins, etc that people might not have wanted), then that could possibly be a good thing to give away to people. Its too bad we can’t get things like cheap mouse pads and such made real quick to give out
.Yah my thoughts, unfortunately we don’t have anything extra right now, I bought candy to give away and I did 10 questions of modern video game trivia and 10 questions of old school video game trivia, people can do those for prizes. For prizes I got some bubble stuff and some silly string, I know kinda lame but hey it was all I could get.
As long as we have some signs and stuff it should be alright and we can improve in time for the Cat Fair!
Unles someone is planning on bringing some more flyers then all I have is the banner which will be taped to the table like always, if I can get my hands on a laptop that would be great, I am here no waiting for when I can set up.
So yeah its super raining, don’t know what to do about it but please still come I don’t have anyone to help me run this table.
I gave up on a losing battle the rain never did seem to calm down so I headed out of there, the only positive things that happened were I got one guys name and Thor brought me our new ban hammer
, we’ll just have to look forward to Cat Fair. Also don’t worry about not making it guys I appreciate it if you tried but you would have just gotten wet so it was better that no one showed up.
