SpectatorVblood made the burgers. Garlic was involved. Also, I’m pretty sure it is not illegal to put alcohol in food. People cook with wine all the time.

Spectatoron a college campus it very well may be lol
May 17, 2008 at 5:55 pm #46427Cacophony
SpectatorOn campus I’m pretty sure that would still fall under the rules against having alcohol while minors are present since you’d actually need the booze on hand to cook with it. So, yes, it’s likely a little against the rules.

SpectatorIt is a legit but stupid rule, besides when you cook with wine, beer, or rum it cooks the alcohol out leaving only the flavor.
May 18, 2008 at 2:44 pm #46518wispy
Spectatorbut as you are cooking the food who says you are not sipping (chugging) the alcohol
May 18, 2008 at 4:15 pm #46527Ephraim
SpectatorIsn’t it sorta weird that they sell shirts on campus that say “Beer: Now cheaper than gas,” but they don’t allow anybody to drink it?
May 18, 2008 at 5:51 pm #46535Cacophony
SpectatorThey also sell shot glasses in the gift shop. Which is alcohol paraphernalia and is illegal to have in your dorm room.

SpectatorA little OT but I made burgers last night and OMG THEY WERE THE BEST BURGERS IVE EVER HAD
just use lean ground beef, worchestershire sauce, some A1 sauce and some shredded chedder cheeze. It is FULL OF WIN.

I prefer lean beef, a slight touch of worchestershire, and a crapton of special seasoning we picked up from sam’s club.
A1 just doesn’t turn me on.

I won’t bother replying. Obviously this is part of the reason why so many here don’t like you.

The thing is I don’t even like A1 sauce on anything but *edited* if it doesn’t give a good flavor to the burger when its cooked in it.
May 21, 2008 at 12:02 pm #46769Bitey
SpectatorIf you want an interesting taste to a burger, try A1 sauce or worchestershire (your preference), a tab bit of brown sugar, and about half a shots glass worth of Jack Daniels, you cook it right and your in for a real treat mate a real treat, also works on steaks.

SpectatorIf memory serves I’ve never once tasted A1 sauce. I am, however, a veteran of the fine worchestershire sauce. It does good things to food.
