Well, guys, it’s been great around here, and i’m heading out of leatherwood at 3pm, uhh, today…
so y’all have a great and awesome summer
i’ll be touring around the majority of the american south maybe, at least all the way from the carolinas to texas, and i don’t even kno when i’ll be where, as i go help family move and go visit some schools and all, and when i’m not touring i’ll be at home in a corner of the woods where even cell phone service is scarce, so i have no idea if i’ll be keepin in contact.
however the summer goes, my plan is to somewhere this fall be either in a school somewhere or in a job in/near a city, so i should be picking up internet sometime this fall…
but anywho, till then, its been awesome fun and all, and i’ve definitely enjoyed it. I’ll also miss you WCU attendees (and those graduating ‘specially) when i be gone coz then all i’ll get to do is voice chat and all, ‘cept for maybe some LAN action depending on how i end up having travel access…
so y’alls have a great summer!

i’m in town to do some shopping and do some college and job research online… just wanted to toss out there what i be lookin at so often now… ’tis nice, i must admit, but there be no people!
and just for luls i’ll mention… one of the first days after i got back, the wind blew the top out of one of the trees and though it didn’t break the line it still tripped the transformer or whatever out in the yard and knocked out power to us so i had to caveman it for a while…
also, my plans had a whole new calendar introduced to them pretty much… i’ll be out in the woods at least till mid june then hopefully i’ll be able to go somewhere and settle in and find internets.
anywho, i’m out to go actually do the shopping i meant to, peace out
aye, and i return, only briefly, once again… this move is going to be much more complicated than i thought on the family front…
in theory, i was going to go visit GA and TX and pick one and move, as is still the plan, but through that I was gonna just uhaul it (or other smaller rental truck from, say, Avis or Hertz or Enterprise or wherever) and move in one attempt on my own…
long story short my sis has moved to charlotte to a job and an apartment i think not last week but week before, and was gonna try to do just one trip… today we’re making the 4th or 5th trip down there and she still has no bed coz despite the fact that that’s been my sis’s first priority, my mom keeps on just shopping for decorative stuff and then she gets to the point where she’s gonna have to go ahead and leave coz she’s in charlotte too late and has to get home… if that’s to be any example of what i’ve got ahead of me, i’m gonna go nuts.
so for the next couple days, there’s a chance I could end up stranded in charlotte to go ahead and take my own initiative to help my sis out, if this repeats itself, and I’ll just have to wing it on summer plans from there… i really hope not, but if that becomes the case, life’ll get really interesting
and when i hit the road to move, no questions asked i’m renting something (small car, small truck, or big truck depending on how much i have to move), putting my stuff in it, and leaving the parents home…
yikes,, seems stressful

However dont let me speek for him either rofl thx guys… depending on how things add up when i try to get some travels, i might be back in charlotte some day so i can catch an early mornin flight out or if i catch a late flight back, and if so, i’ll most definitely give ya’s a ring. i would right nows but i’m workin on a mile long to-do list out here wit my sis
anywho, i’m not gonna end up stranded in charlotte, as i thought, but possibly stranded for an extended period of time in teh back corner of the woods…
if i don’t pull off a small miracle and get out and travel around to sufficiently investigate GA/TX soon then i will likely be in said back corner of the woods till late june/early july?
alright, i’m starting to hear back from some jobs… woohoo. so ya, if something turns out to be truly exceptional then ima be hikin it out soon and makin sure a job doesn’t pass me up…
otherwise i may be gettin one o dese amtrak 15- or 30- day rail passes and makin my way around teh southeast. from the way amtrak runs, i might as well enjoy some scenery while i’m out and about… along the way would either be New Orleans and some gulf coast action, or D.C. and chicago and all that way, or i could just run a big circle and see it all, maybe even some florida.
while i’m out and about, ima try to find some libraries and journal my travels, should be swell.
fun thing will be finding some shower facilities, dunno if those come standard (and reasonably secure) in train stations / airports, when i’m making the long roundabout journeys through the north or around the gulf coast… or i could just be a typical college guy and not…
Glad I could see you in Asheville before you disappeared! Hope to see you at future LANs man.

alright, update time… the Falcon got accepted at SPSU into Software Engineering, and I’m returning to charlotte next week and pretty much just commuting via AMTRAK to atlanta and back on thursday for orientation, but unless things there are lined up and wrapped up in a exquisitely nice package ready to go (and I mean, very seriously there would have to figuratively be a gold-paved road right to my seat in class) then I may still plan on putting things off till the spring, there is still much to be done at home (including a huge list of things to do for the parents and things to be done by the parents, etc. etc.) and a week’s notice of whether I’m attending fall classes or not is incredibly short notice, so there still stands a chance that I may not be gracing the servers with my presence until January or so on… but since it’s less far off and if I’ve got room to then I may just attend a lan or two
