For one, how about you guys add some PS3 tournaments to the LAN. If I have to, Ill come to the meetings and push for it because some great “tournament style games are coming to the PS3 soon like Soul Calbur 4 and Tekken 6. Also, how about not doing the ticket things as a prize for winning tournaments next time because someone could theoretically wini every single tournament and still not win a prize. I know this was done because you all wanted to keep people at the LAN, but giving tickets away as a prize so people will HAVE to stay to POSSIBLY win something is bogus.
We did this because the same people walked away with prizes every time, also if I had not done it this way consoles would not have gotten prizes at all, we had no sponsors for consoles this time and so the best way to split it up was by the door prizes, next time we have discussed letting people only win one prize. Seriously, what people need to learn is that everything we do is done through the meetings we have, it has always been done this way, if you want something to change then you need to show up to meetings and voice your opinions, and bring people with you that support your cause because if you come by yourself and you are the only one who wants this to happen then it is going to be a pretty one-sided vote.
As a former president I am 100% pro-ticket. I think we should keep it exactly the way it was. People that I didn’t even know won prizes this time. I placed in several tournaments and didn’t win anything but still had a great time. If you came for prizes, you came to the wrong place. We play for fun.

Hell I had a great time and didnt win anything. But honestly, some people love prizes, gives them the motivation to come back and play again. I know Ill be at the next LAN mainly for the competition though, nothing like a good game of CoD4 or Brawl.

the problem was the same people keep winning the prizes.. and most fill bad about it and give the prizes away anywho,, the way bitey did it was deff the way to go.
now someone just make juicy fruit last more than 3min’s and they winn 100 tickets
and for the PS3 stuff, plz do make it to meetings. That’s why they haven’t been tournaments, they’ve consistently not had enough support in the meetings. Get your buddies to come too, that’s more votes in favor of one!
Another thing was that we never voted on prized to keep people at the lan. They are free to leave whenever they want, and now it is even more interesting i think with the tickets because now its all up in the air and technically even more competitive because you are competing agianst everyone instead of just the five or ten people that are in the terniments.
