i thought it was absolutely terrible. i didn’t see any point in it other than to prove how much of an old *edited* the old dude could be. what were ur thoughts on it?

one of the best movies i’ve seen in recent memory… i saw it thrice in theaters and bought it the day it came on dvd… i suggest it to anyone over the age of 16 who can appreciate it. the score is the most amazing one i’ve ever heard for a movie. It tops indiana jones and star wars, it’s such a vital part of the movie its just moving. It was amazing.

i enjoyed the movie so much.. and i can see what you mean of him just being an old *edited* lol :P

but at the same time i think there was more to it and thats my problem… i tended to connect all the events to multiple ideas and i just got royal confused. :( i mean what did u take as the overall message?

i really need to rewatch the scene where he talks to his “brother” cause that really was the main method to his madness ya know?

i dunno… think its one of the best movies ive seen this year

Like No Country for Old Men, I hated the ending. But besides that I loved the movie, maybe a lil more excitement could have been used in the middle, I thought it was a little bit slow at some parts. And yes Bill, the score was amazing, I think that was by far my favorite part of the movie. Overall, I’m not sure it was the “best” movie I have ever seen, but it was certainly good.

idk. it really just didn’t seem to have much purpose or point as a movie. that’s why i didn’t like it.

there was no score to No Country For Old Men… i think that made the movie like 10x better at relaying teh point made it seem more like that *edited* would def happen to any of us

i guess. but i’m more of a traditional movie guy with a conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution, etc. this movie just didn’t seem to have all that. idk.

I mean this man had a dream – you realized it from the opening sequence – AND NOT ONE WORD TILL ABOUT 15 MIN IN!!!! only other movie i know to pull that off – apocalypse now… I mean he was a devoted, devoted man… You saw it in everything he did, he knew what he wanted to do, if he didn’t like the circumstances he moved on. I’m not trying to ruin the movie for anyone, but I think you need to realize from this movie that you reap what you sow… if all you care about is business and no play… that’s what happens.

Was he wrong in the end to dissavow his son and tell him he was an orphan, yes and no… it was an *edited* move, but i mean at least the kid knows the truth. Was the guy suffering from one of the many many diseases associated with contact of pure oil for exposed periods? i dunno, dementia is one of them… I love the ending and I thought it was perfect for the movie, a little random, but at the same time deserved.

Overall I thought it to be an amazing movie. I did like no country for old men, but this was just absolutely an amazing movie. But god damned the bad guy in no country was one of the best i’ve seen in recent memory…

so i actually sympathized with Daniel the most out of all the characters :X

like a big part of him was that he had in his mind where he wanted to be and when ppl messed around with him, or basically told him how to run his business and family it like flipped sumthin in his brain and he took em out. Thats why I loved the last line of the movie and i still think that it was the perfect end to it lol.

You need to learn to do what renton’s big bro did. Spoilers out in the open are not cool.
