SpectatorI’m in need of some 3rd party gaming drivers for the GeForce 7600Go since my default drrivers don’t even have a vsync option. I tried googling but couldn’t find anything. Any help would be appreciated

Need the make and model of your laptop as well as the version of your current drivers.

Spectatorjust asking a dumb question, i run the nvidia drivers from the nvidia website and have a geforce 6800 gt pci-express, and in the Nvidia control panel if you use advanced settings I see a vsync option, or if you want to get fancy the custom resolutions have settings that you can tune the vsync manually…
does that have any use for you?

Spectatorwell if you ever DID need new drivers for your laptop, the best place to go is laptopvideo2go.com/forums
They house just about every nvidia driver ever made and they have hacked inf files that make the newer drivers work with laptop cards (nvidia and OEMs rarely update laptop drivers for some odd reason, yet the desktop drivers work fine 98% of the time. I use those drivers for my laptop.)

Forcing it in the Nvidia Control Panel is highly discouraged. If you pull up a high-powered game it overrides any in-game settings and forces Vsync. With the 8800 cards this isn’t really a problem but with all others it could put a hurting on performance.

Which is why I asked for a vendor because they are typically VERY specific. The ones on Nvidia’s website rarely work on laptop cards. To be fair though, the drivers on ATI’s website don’t even work well on desktop cards.
