SpectatorIm kinda interested .. does it play css… i have a laptop but it doesnt play it .
also does it come with a monitor?
March 19, 2008 at 10:56 am #39997Nickname
SpectatorIt will play CS:S, I will test it today and see how well.
She is giving the monitor to her mom, so no it doesn’t come with one.
March 19, 2008 at 4:21 pm #40014Nickname
SpectatorAlright it plays CS:S pretty well at a mixture of med-low settings at 1024×768; typically staying around 50-60fps with occasional drops to the 20s.
Also of note is that I might switch the case out for this one here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx…N82E16811144001 simply because I am bored with that case lol. Its actually in much better condition than the one I was originally going to include so that should help the value of this machine.
EDIT: also I was using the default windows drivers, might get better performance with newer drivers idk.

The entire Intel 800 series (Pentium D) gets hot.
That would be a good swap for your laptop depending the video card it can be upgraded to.
March 19, 2008 at 10:38 pm #40056VBloodLustV
Spectatori really would like a monitor.. .so my consideration may go down because of that… i dont have that much money and i dont think i could afford a monitor right now .. and a computer without a monitor is a bit useless
March 19, 2008 at 11:05 pm #40060Nickname
SpectatorMaybe we can work on the price some… I can surely get you a CRT monitor for free but I don’t have an extra LCD to sell you, sorry :-/

haha sorry i dont know a lot about computers
March 20, 2008 at 4:12 am #40092Falcon
SpectatorLCD = flat panel, CRT = the big bulky deep ones
in good condition, they’d probably look about the same to the average user.
