    yeah my internet is 80mbps but the lines in my building can only support up to 60 :(

    Lol time to cry every1; this is from my former ISP verizon as proof of why it sucked so bad. I has cable now and its about 5x better.

    55Mbit in both directions definately beats Chris’ speed. You have a touch slower download and many times faster upload, it’s a simple tradeoff.

     

    Btw, for all you at WCU, you’re speed is faster than that website tells you. Last year they had a speed test site in Raleigh, which is also where our pipes come from, and the speed test results were twice as fast from there as they were from Atlanta.

    Most schools block hosting ports and protocols. For example, WCU prevents students from hosting high-bandwidth programs out of their dorm rooms by blocking HTTP, FTP, and various other generic server protocols.
