I doubt anybody would know that other than the Bungie staff itself. There almost may need differences in damage such as shield damage and health damage. Because Covenant weapons are known to deplete shields rapidly, but can hardly finish the job unless you unload on them. Also, I believe the spikers have a buffed melee damage because of their bladed end. Maybe. Oh well, Brute Shot is probably the best melee weapon for damage though, since it’s the only one with a one hit kill melee.. jumping melee that is.
