lan 4 1.6 rules

Hey there people. I have lanned 1.6 before, but it was 5v5 team torneys. I was wondering how the lan will work for the 1.6 and what rules will be in place. I have heard rumors around the campus about turning off the footsteps in game and also about using gun game mod. I am just curious about if these rumors are true and what the rules will be during the lan. Thanks for the help.
