SpectatorJust thought I’d post the demo I have of me playing up until I got banned, for anyone interested enough to watch it. It’s 7 minutes and 10 seconds in length.
No one ever told me what I was banned for, but presumably they think I was using some kind of hacks.
Edit: Trying the attachment again…

SpectatorSo you regularly record demos of yourself playing?

SpectatorYour demos are worthless, any demo can be tampered with and therefore only demos from admins are truly considered.

It would also be appreciated if someone could confirm why I was banned.

SpectatorYour case is closed. Demo has been reviewed, admin’s don’t have to share demo or explain if they don’t want to.

SpectatorWe do have a desire for transparency, but that’s up to the person who took the demo, his perogitive can and should exceed that of the accused. I have other reasons as such and generally am open with those cases where I doubt the demo. If I had taken the demo this would not be one of those.
Besides, this is not the place for complaint, either ban appeal forum, where it has been handled already, or Private msg.

This wasn’t intended as a complaint; it is your server and you are free to run it as you choose. I apologize if it came out as such. As you mentioned, this case has already been handled in the ban appeal forum, so I held no illusions of some higher authority stepping in if I posted here. Rather, I wanted to be transparent on my end (hence the failed demo posting) and hoped to find out more about why I was banned, as I mentioned.
I would PM you about this, but I don’t see how it would accomplish anything more than my posting here. I tried to give my side, but Bitey has rejected it, so all that remains here is my request for information, which is up to you to fulfill or not as you choose. Since you’ve mentioned that it probably won’t be fulfilled, there is nothing left for me to communicate, other than attempts to clarify misunderstandings as I am doing here.
