I too think it would be great it we could sort out the power and connection things earlier for the next LAN. While I was kind of expecting to be sitting around (After all, it did happen last time too) it still sucks to be bored to tears for a good solid couple of hours.
Otherwise, I had a lot of fun with what I participated in and am really looking forward to the next LAN.
