am I the only one that gives a *edited* about it? if so i’ll just deal with it or play a different server… was just wondering since today I played for about an hour and a half and saw an a couple admins use their power to win a round for their team, switch a friend mid round so he could kill people without them realizing it, and switch a friend to their team to imbalance the teams. i’ve seen this occur for awhile, big deal or no? I personally find it annoying and it makes me want to stop playing, but maybe i’m over reacting.
i haven’t seen any of that… some slaying but usually after the round and rarely affecting the overall gameplay

Yeah, please tell us their names as this is a serious issue that should be addressed properly. I’d check the log our bot keeps but I lost the log when I rebooted.
Hmmm, I’m guilty of one of those, though I believe it was for the sake of the server, I have switched a person mid round to even out the teams and give the other side a head start on coming back. Only done it once and that was contra and the score was 12-0. I don’t really think it constitutes admin abuse, but if it does I apologize.
yes the admin will move people around but its not for the reasons you are giving we will move people around on the teams to help balance them . now if a person gets moved that you don’t think should have been moved cannot help ya but we are trying to keep the teams as balanced as we can sorry if you don’t fill the right person was moved we cannot make everyone happy. I love the way people think running a server the right way is so easy . It takes a lot from a lot of people not just start a server and say oh well done there’s more to it then that you constantly have people complaining about everything in the world so you do what you can to fix the problems as you can . Now if anyone knows a instant fix for a lot of the problem cool post some info and try helping us but for those that want to just complain about everything under the sun well get a life and stop *edited*ing so much
I have been guilty of the same thing, like on awp_map for example chants/osama, whatever you want to call him was pretty much on a killing spree for about 5 or 6 rounds and I was thinking well I will switch him to the other team so they can win some, granted it happened to be my team, it wasnt until chantz said bitey switch me to your team that I actually did it. I believe this is what toadvine is talking about and I am sorry that it has upset you so much. I have never done this on a normal map, but it was awp_map and there was maybe 5 or 6 people on? Regardless if it offened you this much I won’t do it again, but I do think your over-reacting just a bit, after 5 or 6 rounds of chantz being on my team I switched him back, I do try to be fair to both teams. Anyways won’t happen on my end again.
Also on a side note I only switch between rounds there is a command that lets us do that, if it ever happens on my end it was on accident cause I hit the wrong button, sorry for the inconvenience… Anyways any admins that are switching mid round should stop and learn the command, I personally use the admin menu to do everything I find it easier to hit numbers rather than type stuff in cause I am not a fast typer with that sort of stuff.
I’ve palyed on this sever for a good few months and i have not seen any un resonable behavior, alot of admins will do things like slay people and what not to help game paly not hurt it, i have seen where some are slayed only becuase they are hurting the game play and when slayed they may accidentlly cause the other team to win, but overall i think the admins do a great job here i think though they should be more strick on the mic spamming and team blocking and flashing, usally 1 of 3 maps i paly on there is an untollerable mic spammer or a kids who continues to block doorways and flash in mid rush, that is the only problem and i wish the server admins had a tighter policy on that, but overall VERY good

personally i think team stacking has always been a problem, but who wants to be a T on aztec or CT on assault… ill admit, i get *edited*ed of these maps win the vote. there just no fun for half the people in the server. thats why the maps are just better off out of the rotation
liam is a good example for the admins to follow though. he switches pretty much all the good people to the bad side which evens the teams haha. i like this. and he kicks/bans team stackers, i dont think thats done enough (after he warns them). keep up the good work liam.
First, I wasn’t suggesting that the server was in total chaos or anything. I just said that some admins, very few in fact, do sometimes abuse their power in the ways I have written of. It doesn’t occur every time I’m logged in, but it does happen about every other day or 2 and I do find it annoying when it does. It usually happens in consecutive clusters as though it were contagious too so it is possible to go days without it occuring, but I do regularly witness some admins, one in particular comes to mind, that do abuse their power. Team stacking does occur a lot, like almost every map, but I was not referring to that problem specifically.
directed to ex: Here you give a perfect example of how there are admins of low maturity level and poor logic skills. I’ve been very polite and do acknowledge that I could be the only one that feels this way yet you immediately become defensive and hostile. You want a suggestion to the problem? Get rid of hot headed admins like yourself and think before you act. Some admins think they help balance teams when they switch the top 3 players from the winning team to the other and the bottom 3 players from the losing team to the other but all this does is recreate the same problem.
directed to bitey: I don’t mind that you switched chantz, but switching him mid round while he was right next to me and others of his former team was very annoying since we had no warning. Also, you are exaggerating, it was only 2 or 3 rounds into the map when you started switching people which was a bit premature but no big deal.

i’ve also witnessed what toadvine has described, and it does become anoying at times. like he said it doesn’t happen all the time and i understand sometimes people make mistakes. also team stacking has seemingly become more of an issue (i’ve noticed… i live on the server), but i hear there is a nice team balancing mod in testing? i don’t think toadvine is complaining, but like enough said, his thoughts do contribute to the welfare of the community…
anyway, just my .02
The team balancer works if you have Visual Studio installed. Unfortunately, ITS isn’t going to see a need for Visual Studio on Tron. Maybe Liam can recompile or send the code to gxti and gxti can build it.

i dont know about you guys but i love getting team switched at the start of a new round, or half way through, because its hilarious.
just wanted to report some admin abuse by a certain admin… tonight he slayed me only after about 10-15 seconds into the round stating i was afk when i was not… he said i had the bomb and wasn’t moving so he assumed i was afk, which however was not the case… also he used the admin chat function to try and get me to hurry when i’m the only one left while i’m trying to work strategically to accomplish the objective rather than simply run out and die in a fire fight with half the other team…. i feel threatened that if i don’t run out and die to speed things up for him i will be slain… or slapped which could obviously hinder my performance…
i have overlooked the situation in the past but it was just to much to put aside tonight… it became somewhat frustrating, and his admin usage was seemingly misused in my eyes… this doesn’t happen very often btw
anyway… just felt like saying something, i don’t want to get anyone in trouble… or complain for that matter, just giving my .02 pesos

well i know it wassnt me hehe. but goat you will have to give a name of people that are abuseing there admin man i know you dont want to get anyone in trouble but abuse is a bad thing and needs to be handled

I never slay anyone afk with the bomb. ma_dropc4 does the same thing without killing them.
I will slay bomb but usually only if the round is almost over or they are running around completely clueless they have the bomb or just don’t know what to do with it. I don’t think this was me but again goat, lay down a name man.
