If your having problems connecting and get an error about de_contra, to correct it go into your
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\
\counter strike source\cstrike\maps and delete the de_contra files located therein.
After that, try reconnecting and it’ll download the map and life will be happy.
Hope that helps for those of you having trouble.
I attached awp_map and deagle5 to this because some were having problems with them.
Just drop them in to the folder I listed above.

I’m having troubles with this with awp_map. I deleted it from my maps folder, but still when I try to download it from the server, it won’t allow me. Can somone repost the link to get to it? I already tried downloading it from the web a couple of times, but I guess it was a different map.
Someone had a problem yesterday with awp_map and with deagle.
I’ll upload them both and add them as an attachment.
Attached them in the top post.

as long as you deleat what ever the map is thats giving you problems (100% deleat all file extensions .bsp .nav .txt and all the others) you will be good to go..
I find it best to find everything by doing a windows all file search command of de_contra or what ever map it may be and deleat eveything..
