SpectatorI’ve never had this problem.
What mouse do you use? Perhaps you are experiencing mouse-skip caused by a laser/optical mouse not “seeing” the movement of the pad beneath it?
Simple check: Try using a different service than your normal mousepad (I.E. a book) and see if it still happens.

SpectatorYeah that sounds like you are having tracking problems on your mouse, before when you used acceleration I imagine you didn’t have to move the mouse as fast as you do now with the mousefix. Hmmm go into mspaint and try it, set it on a low dpi and record your movements back an forth in the same pattern to see if you are doing straight lines, if it is *edited*ing up then it is probly the mouse you are using.
Specifically what mouse are you using, a g5 or any other lazor mouse for that matter can have tracking problems that cause what you are specifically describing when moving the mouse really fast. In fact when I used to use the g5 I experienced exactly what you are describing after I became a low sensitivity user. hmmmm, try the two files I attached, one is to measure the polling rate of your mouse, the higher the better, 1000 is the most you can get with a usb port, if you are getting lower than that and using a laser mouse then you are having tracking problems, other than the new blue logitech g5 i don’t know of any lasor mouses that get 1000 polling rate, the other program over clocks your usb port to possibly a 1000 hz there if your mouse can handle it. If all else fails then l I also attached the mousefix zip folder again so you can undo it if you don’t like it. It takes some getting used to, it ain’t meant to be something that immediately improves your game, but rather make it your accuracy more consistent as you get used to it. It is *edited* hard to find a pro out there that doesn’t use it. Not saying it will make you as good as them, just that they use it for a reason, because mouse acceleration can *edited* your game up. If you want to uninstall it you can with the cplmousefix.rar i attached below.
Also it may be as freeman said, you might be having problems with whatever you use as your mousepad. Granted I think it might have something to do with what I said above as you mentioned it starting after you installed the mousefix. Hope this helps.

SpectatorI’ve never had a single tracking issue with my Razer Copperhead. Polling ate is 1000, btw

Spectatori do have a g5, i definately think its a tracking problem, tried the patch but it didnt help… so i guess the only solution is getting a new mouse?
the cpl fix is a must have, it helps so much with quick aiming and headshots… it just sucks for turning around and panning across the whole screen for me
what mouse do you recommend?

Spectatorhmm mx300, mx500, mx510, mx518, Microsoft IE 3.0 or 1.1, Razer Deathadder, Razer Diamondback, A4tech X7. I use the Razer Deathadder, it’s nice. Get done what I want done. The Microsoft IE 3.0 is pretty rad too, my friend buddha uses the one I gave a couple months ago, he does pretty well it, winning a tournament and all
Those are rather cheap too, about 30 bucks, you can get one of those bundled with a really fly *edited* mousepad too for a bit more. Funny thing about the Microsoft IE 3.0 is that is has something like a 125 polling rate and rather low dpi, yet it *edited*ing rocks, it is next to impossible to find tracking problems with it. If you like the big feeling of the g5 you will really like the IE 3.0. I definitely prefer the latter over the g5. The Deathadder feels much the same just a bit smaller. Spectatori have a g5 and getting an average of around 450Hz on the mouse tracking. i also dont have the cpl mouse fix thing. i think that is the problem.
I have never had the problem your using, and i prefur this g5 10X over the 518.. i havent tryed the $100+ Razer but it has bad reviews b/c of the buttons breaking from to much clicking.
whatever you deside, i’ll buy the g5 since it sucks so much.

but its not the mouse.

SpectatorI dunno man, turn the g5 down to 400 dpi, and a pretty low in game sens, and then load up source, and try and move your arm as fast as possible over a large distance I’m betting you will get tracking problems, the g5 is pretty notorious for it. At mid to high sensitivities the g5 is fine, but it ain’t good for low sensitivity. I attached a demo below, check it out I’m guessing those are the problems you are having.
