nVidia’s overheating problem only really happens when you overclock the card to extreme amounts or have insufficient cooling. Their mid-range cards are *edited* good, as Kuros said you can probably get the 7950 KTKO for a cheap amount now, maybe $300-350.
And this is coming froma guy with an ATI. I can’t wait to build my new rig, lulz.
