Oh Malley
SpectatorI just bought the game the other night since I’m not going to Charlotte anymore and decided to put the saved cash I had to good use. Does anyone else play this? If so, post here or let me know if you have friends that play. I need people on Live to play with, plus I was seeing if anyone would like to play this over LAN or even as a tourney.

Spectatori have this game. i got it when it came out but it made my xbox freeze almost every time i played it so i dont play it anymore but i wouldnt mind playing it in a tourney style….on some one elses xbox, lol. i can find some of my friends that play it and let you know.

SpectatorEvidentally I’m pretty good at it, since I’ve impressed a lot of players since they’ve questioned my rank.
MTAR21 ftw. Oh well, maybe we can do some freeplay at least at the next LAN.

SpectatorHalo flopped for PC Dice….and it’s probably one of the biggest and most anticipated series right now.

as with MOST FPS
Console FPSen are completely different from PC FPSen. Shooters that come out for all platforms tend to especially suck on one, i.e. Halo on PC or Counter-Strike on X-Box.

What about that one game that came with xbox live starter kit? Red Crimson or something like that. I do believe it sucked on all platforms. Yeah…def sucked.

SpectatorMost anticipated? Gamespot/Gamefaqs, the biggest gaming community on the net, issued a poll. Which are you looking forward to more? GTA:IV or Halo 3? GTA:IV won by landslide.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is the most anticipated. Why? Well. halo is just another FPS. Its *edited* good, sure, but its still an FPS. A genre which has been done hundreds of times before.
Where as the unique genre that Rockstar games created and pioneered with the GTA Series. Well, its unique, duh.

Spectatorits not even that.
Halo 2 was a bomb.

Spectatorpersonally i think RS is better on the pc…..anyway just to get into the halo argument (bec i have to). Halo has a big following bec of its online play, which sometimes sucks…….but it is the biggest online game on any console. Anyway……GTA gets old very fast. it is a new type of game but after a short time it gets very repetetive and boring. Also halo pc didnt bomb…..i know people who still play it now and in its day it was a great game…..it was in cal, kw and many tournaments worldwide. To those who never played it it bombed but if you played it when it came out then you opinion would be alot different.
March 15, 2007 at 2:05 am #18130gxti
SpectatorI had it, I played maybe twice. I had more fun making random mods, and even that was dull.
March 15, 2007 at 2:07 am #18131Fascist Flakes (Jagr)
SpectatorI played it when it first came out for the PC. I played online and everything, I wasn’t impressed and didn’t like it at all.
Halo online just gets old extremely fast in my book, with consoles its too hard to prevent people from exploiting left and right or being complete *edited*s. There is no control over the game and what other people do. If someone is exploiting a map glitch or is doing something that doesn’t ever seem possible or something that wasn’t ever intended for them to do then it ruins the fun.
Halo for the PC was better with this but it lacked a lot of support that it should have gotten, the controls were shoddy, and it just overall was bad despite having support from CAL and other tournaments/leagues.

SpectatorThis thread started out as a simple poll as to if anyone played R6V for 360.. turned into a console vs PC thread on a game-by-game basis. Interesting… *goes back corner to take notes, as if some awkward sociologist*

SpectatorIf I wasn’t flat broke, I’d have a gamefly subscription, and I’d rent it and play with you, but alas I am indeed broke.

SpectatorWell the only thing that keep people in halo 2 or pc is the competition. it doesnt matter if people cheat because not very many people play matchmaking anymore. all the good people play customs…….anyway you have to play halo pc for more then a day or two to enjoy it all. Most of the people i know that play halo 2 play pc and cs and all types of other games so apparently a good number of people enjoyed and still enjoy it
March 15, 2007 at 4:53 pm #18174gxti
SpectatorI pretty much play nothing but matchmaking. I suck at Halo 2 😐
March 19, 2007 at 2:19 pm #18374Cacophony
SpectatorMy friend had this game and I played it a couple times. I mostly kept dieing though because I wasnt used to it. It looked real nice though.
March 21, 2007 at 2:17 pm #18485Falcon
SpectatorI’ve played Raven Shield for the PC… i’d be a total noob on the 360 so i don’t know how i’d do, but sounds like fun
March 26, 2007 at 2:35 pm #18774josrocket
SpectatorI may be getting the game for ps3 in a few days when it comes out….if they cross console it then i will play
June 14, 2007 at 4:37 pm #22255Enigma
SpectatorI know alot of people who play this game, it’s really popular up here
I find RS an interesting game it’s like a mix of stratagy and FPS but I mean I still like the simplicity of CS:S better
RS though is fun since you get to play multiple characters and not just one.
Personally I would play it but it’s too expensive since 1. I don’t have an Xbox(nor a 360) 2. i’ts like eighty dollars up here to buy the game I might as wait for it to get discontinued… once that happens I can get it for 10 dollars
June 14, 2007 at 7:21 pm #22269Cacophony
SpectatorI’ve been playing it a lot at my friends this past month, though mostly only Terrorist Hunts and the Campaign. I tried playing online, but unless you running around wearing bandannas and no armor they don’t seem to like you in their server.
Probably the best Tom Clancy game I’ve played in a long time.
June 15, 2007 at 3:49 pm #22333Oh Malley
SpectatorReally? That bad now? Hmm.. Odd. I need to dust off the MTAR and start going at it again some time.
June 16, 2007 at 11:23 am #22367Cacophony
SpectatorMost of the servers with a decent connection I tried seemed the way. I’m guessing not all of them are like that, but it was a bit discouraging.
June 17, 2007 at 4:06 pm #22479Oh Malley
SpectatorWell maybe I should start playing again soon. Was pretty *edited* good at it. MTAR FTW. If you want to play sometime, let me know.
