Thought it would be cool to have an update every so often then the servers are getting some traffic.
Kinda gives you a comparison glance of how the servers are doing compared to each other.
So how long are we gonna give dod:s and cs:cz to fill up b4 we shut them down?
Also what was the status of COD2 b4 we took it down? Was it populated?
Yes, but not by students. I’m trying to get games that people on-campus want to play, and I know there’s demand for DOD – we just need to get it active.
aye, and also, about DoD:s… we’ve already gotten up to i believe 6 at one point. The server just isn’t extremely friendly to idlers, all they get to do is explore every nook and cranny of the map. So I think if we find some way to start collecting people, like a set time or whatever, it’ll take off
there were a student or two in the cod2 server every once in a while. It was always obvious with their ping. But yes the cod2 server was full and very few people on campus played on it. I would say we would get 1 person on campus a month.
i donno who would play CZ when 1.6 is way more popular and fun. If there’s one to axe, I’d say it’d be that one. Just my 2 cents, know it doesn’t count for much.
i would if ppl were in their.. yeah its pratcly teh same, but it doesnt use much resorces and teh main reaon we haev it b/c ppl in our area half to connect to a server overseas to get a low ping.. so the demand is their.. we just need some way to pull them in.
today if i can, ill look for some CZ clans, channels, support groups, etc on IRC and see if i cant lure them into the server and try to get them to add it their favorites….its probably the best way i know of getting the word about our CZ server out there.
