Holy crap. When the CTs LISTEN to a commander (I prefer the term “Overlord”) and don’t blindly get themselves killed that is the best effing map ever.
We took it to the Ts, and rocked them in their house.
Why? Because the CTs -listened-, we swapped strategies, kept it fresh, and noone just wandered inside to get killed. We’d pick off a few T’s, smoke them for a distraction, wait 30secs, charge and BAM. CTs win on Assault!
It was mad fun, and mad unexpected, at least to me.
I hereby, on this 11th of February, 2007, do request that Assault never, ever, be dropped from the rotation.

rofl strats man its a pub not a match i love to hear people calling strats in pubs it makes me laugh so hard
some people like to win, and the fact that they can get people to listen to them or follow instructions makes them proud.
i like people stepping up to be the leader, as long as it doesn’t get the point where he’s crying and *edited*ing about his strat going wrong….
i also like the map. no reason to remove it.

What do you mean its ridiculous to use strats in pub? Thats how I get my kicks. Nothing beats creaming the other team with some perfectly executed moves. NOTHING!

I love calling people names. It’s my favorite. We were in cbbl and t’s rushed b and stopped in that little room and got some got killed by the grenade that flew into the middle of them and the rest were picked off one by one. Way to RUSH. Man people are stupid.
all though its an old disscusion im with freeman and kuros on this..assualt kicks *edited* no matter what..unless its totaly stacked but that makes any map *edited*
I think assault is a pretty fun map too when the CTs know what they’re doing, when I’m a terrorist and theres smoke everywheres I typically just hide in a corner and hope noones sees me
, it gets pretty hectic when the entire ct team rushes in at once!Assault is hardest for the ct’s if you have about 5 t’s who know how to cover the entrances well(2 doors, front gate, 2 vents).
Of course, a good CT team that knows how to kill a camper can still win regardless.
