Hey guys, my name’s Hunter and I’m a senior in high school in Charlotte. I’m looking at Western and App for college. I have 2 friends at Western, one’s a Junior and one’s a Senior, and they are really wanting me to go to Western. I like the small classes and all but seems like there’s nothing to do there…and I don’t wanna spend all my time playing video games or getting drunk. lol is there anything else to do up there?? Any suggestions?

there is really nothing we don’t have.
what are you thinking about for a major. many of use are very diverse and can probably help you out.
i did not play alot of games until i went to western… thank to adambomb getting us a kick *edited* $10,000 box. the ping on all the games are unreal. and the LANS are a blast.
however their is alot of partying…
APP does not have anything that Western doesn’t have… …well besides the jug <_>

Everyone in my family went to App, but me, being the black sheep of the family, I went to western. My wife even went to App, so i was up there a lot, and i’m here to say Western kicks their *edited* in everything but football. We even beat them 2 or 3 years ago i can’t remember, but i was at the game. The biggest plus about Western is you can park somewhere. It might not be the best spot in the world but compared to App it is heaven. The traffic is also much better. They got so many people packed into that *edited*ty little town of Boone it isn’t even funny. Western all the way baby. Mountains are also a lot prettier if you are into that whole gig.
P.S. and i did win the soccer intermurals two years straight. w00t.

I know a guy that graduated with a CIS degree, he now does the networking for Petty Enterprises. Think about Engineering Tech to, that is what i did, and i loved it.
I really enjoyed and learned alot with the CIS major. I could list things but it would be explained at open house.
