So how did WCU Gaming Club start out? I looked at the Constitution, which was unique, but I haven’t seen any history on your site. Just wondering how the only pub I play at came to be haha.
For this answer, you need to talk to the WCU Gaming Club Founder, Adam Faulkner.
This is what I know:
It was Adam’s dream/idea to start a club for the gamers on the WCU campus that would host servers and offer support. He began trying to find support for the club in Spring 2004. We received our first server in the Fall of 2004, but because of technical issues the club officially started in the Spring of 2005 which is when we had our first LAN event.
We have had five (5) LAN events since then. The dates for those five are: November 4, 2005; February 24, 2006; April 24, 2006; September 29, 2006; and December 1, 2006. On our old site, we used to have pictures posted of all 6 of those events. I wonder if they will bring that back…

The founder of the gaming club got me in to CS….THANK YOU ADAM…ur my best cs pal for trill homie lol
Wish they had it when i was up there, but i was so hard to get CS back in the day. I spent hours getting it for peeps on my hall. They all enjoyed it though. If steam was around it would have been TIGHT.
