Yes yes, i’m taking the main server offline around 3 today.
Since some folks are having netowrking issues on the Hill, and its the middle of the day I figured that installing the ram now would not interfear with things too much.
If you have a problem, sorry, but i’ve made an executive decision.
the install shouldn’t take much more than 30 minutes to do and I’ll post a response to let you know when everything is back up and functional.

This might take a smidge longer than 30 minuets becasue there were several security patches to install also. once they have completed I’ll take the box down and install the ram. I’ll keep everyone posted.

its lagging sooo badly, we were on aztec people were literally moving frame by frame with skips inbetween, i couldnt deal so i went to another server, please fix it aj! my knickers are in a twist! lol
Everyone on campus is pinging less than 10… i’m however at a constant 20-30 with a half second dip into the -10’s every 30 seconds or so…. rate 25000 and i updated rate 101… i would liek to be in the LowPingClub…
or donate a PC to the -dice- orginassitation also if you haev a spell checker somewere make shure to install that on the PC… thanks
dice before putting in comment here type them in microsoft word. then press f7 and correct everything, then paste it in lol

might try the dhcp, that would explain the ip problems too…i’m still getting ip conflicts in windoze and my ping in warrock is still 150+, is the cs server still messed up? it may be having ip conflicts as well
the CS server sholdn’t be having any ip conflcts a) it works fine with computers on campus and
the ip address is a statically assigned IP in a reserved subnet, so even if someone has it set manually, they won’t be able to go anywhere and the server should be un-affected.
