Meeting #3 @10:30pm-11:41pm

• Unfinished Business:

o CS-Source will be taken off the server, vote 8/0/0; new game to be installed and played will be Call of Duty 2

o Server Updates: possibly move to new box, separate box with Linux operating system. Tyler is working on talking to Scott about new box, and or wiping current box clean and putting everything back on it without putting Windows Virtual Server 2003 back on it.

o Website Updates: Arcade games have been added. Check them out.

o 11/4/05 LAN Event: things we did well on: plenty of food, drinks, prizes!! Things to work on: install took too long (we have a fix for this issue), timing of door prizes needs to be worked on, deep freeze interrupted last event, server lag.

o First LAN Event pictures should be added soon.

• New Business:

o Fundraising: we will do a 50/50 raffle, sign-up sheet will be passed around next meeting.

o Executive council elections:

 VP of Membership/Finance/Marketing: Adam Merrill vote: 8/0/0-passed

 UT2K4 Council Leader: Keith Kelly vote: 8/0/0-passed

 BF2 Council Leader: Josh Schwartz vote: 8/0/0-passed

o Next LAN Event:

Date: 2/24/06 @ Time: 7pm-2am

Place: Belk or Grandroom (TBD)

Game: UT2K4

Sponsors: we currently have REDBULL, Computer Dynamics, and possibly Alienware.

Banners: 3 x 8 ft (color)(Have)(Tyler wants 1 more made), 150 Flyers needed

Food/Drink: 16 Pizzas, LOTS OF Drinks

Prizes: TO BE DONATED

Who is going: Max 32 ppl

When to arrive: 5 pm for execs only, everyone else needs to arrive at 7pm.

Sign-up sheet will be on-line shortly. Remember to sign-up early, as slots go FAST!!

BYOC: bring your own computer event.

o Things to do by next meeting:

 Tyler is going to talk to Scott about box. Then talk to Adrian about possibly becoming our advisor, if he does not want to do it, then Tyler will talk to Scott.

 Ashley is going to come up with a revised constitution to be voted on next meeting.

 Adam Merrill is going to attend the SGA finance meetings.

 Adam Faulkner is going to buy the COD2 game, and work on installing it on the server.
