Gamecreate Read/Post Comment: 0 printer friendly email to someone
The Gaming Club hopefully will be moving all of its gaming servers to the helpful support of Gamecreate.com. Gamecreate is a web software that allows for webadmin to all the gaming servers. It is as simple as pressing a button to install any game you want. Hopefully this will help everyone with their game issues as they update every game for us automatically, they support Linux and windows, and the most important ‘Its Free’ for us at least.

April 4th CS Contest – 9 – 1:45, HS kids will be on campus and have 2 hours to complete 4 programs given to them by WCU. The students have no prior knowledge of what programs they will write, they just come knowing how to do basic Java. WCU students grade the programs and determine the contest winners. This year James Ruff and Tray Houston will be giving short talks (10-15 min) about the WCU CS program and the WCU Grid Computing Research project, respectively. The talks will be at 1:15 and 1:30 in Forsyth 138. The awards will be presented to the HS student right after the talks, in the same room.

I removed the restricted access to the club members only forum so that people who are not yet members of the club can find upcoming events and meeting info. Hope this helps people who are in search of info.
