Engineering starting salaries are at an all time low and aren’t that easy to get anymore. There’s so many *edited* indians and asians 
Unfortunately, many of the asians are hot so it’s hard to be too *edited*ed. I’d hire a hot asian chick over a white guy any day 
FOLLOWUP: It depends on the engineering type. Most foreigners are here for the upper tiers of engineering (electrical, chemical, nuclear). Most of the mid-range ones still have excellent job availability and starting pay because there’s much less competition for top graduates. Tbh, diesel mechanics with a college degree have better pay than I probably ever will as an electrical engineer.
